A field experiment was conducted on a Hongyou soil of Yangling to investigate the effects of irrigation and nitrogen fertilization on wheat yield under straw mulch.
The plastic film mulch can increase the soil temperature, and the straw mulch can improve soil fertility. Besides above advantages, the double mulch can also preserve soil moisture.
