First I want you to comfort yourself by having a nice walk outside. To keep calm is important for you to deal with these matters. In fact, I disagree with your parents’ idea. It’s true that students should work hard on their study especially when the mid-term exam is coming. However, to feed a pet dog doesn’t harm your study. It is a good way to relax yourself. We all know that we can study better after proper relaxing.
