To avoid embarrassing situations, it is necessary for you to learn about some Chinese customs. When meeting people for the first time, we usually say “Ni hao”with a smile. On formal occasions, people greet each other with a handshake. If invited to a Chinese home, you are supposed to arrive ahead of time. We Chinese people are friendly and don’t feel surprised if the host or hostess puts food on your plate.
With its vast land and beautiful scenery, China offers a variety of choices for my opinion, Beijing, Tibet, Lijiang and so on are among great destinations with different characteristics. I strongly recommend a theme park in Shenzhen called Splendid China Folk Village, where you can see models of famous scenic spots in China. Don’t forget to enjoy different local foods while travelling in China.
